Step Three to receiving your Open Water Scuba Diver Certification is completing four dives in open water. Once you have finished the knowledge development and confined water dives you will have 12 months to complete the four certification dives necessary to be Open Water Certified. During these dives you will demonstrate a mastery of the skills learned during the pool sessions.
Complete Your Dives Locally ($450 - includes 4 dives, Lake Phoenix entry fees, air fills, and gear other than personal)
We offer the ability to complete the certification dives with us at Lake Phoenix (in Rawlings, VA) starting in May through November. Explore the local diving opportunities while meeting new dive buddies. Completing your dives locally allows you to head off on your trip fully certified and ready to dive! Please note, a logbook is required.
Need a Referral to complete your Dives on a Trip?
If you already have a trip planned and would like to complete your certification dives while traveling we can provide you with a referral form which will allow you to finish your certification at any PADI resort or retailer. (The resort or retailer will be able to tell you the cost of completing the certification dives with them.)
